ANNIVERSARY
: VIEWER MAIL
We
get lots of letters here at TJ-Hooker.com. Luckily for us,
most of them are extremely positive, which means we must be
doing something right. Occasionally we're alerted to some malfunctions.
Other times we get questions about the show's history, or just
a note of thanks for a particular new feature. No matter what
it is, we love to hear from you. Keep those letters coming (info@tj-hooker.com)!
We
thought you'd enjoy reading a sampling of some of the more interesting
letters we've received in the past year; we've kept them anonymous,
of course. Hopefully, there'll be many more in the next 365
days!

"Me and the lads/girls in the office were having an 80's nostalgia
session (well it is Friday :)) and were checking out the various 80's
kids/american tv shows/cartoons websites. While not being a big fan
of TJHooker, I thought I'd check your website out for the 80's cheesiness
value.
"I
think your site is probably the most informative/humourous/user friendly
tribute site I have visited. The Hooker
Uniform/Episodes through the ages were
very clever and made we wonder what sort of television I was watching
in the 80's. . . . Keep up the good work."
Subject: TJ HOOKER CREDITS
"Who
played which part?"
Subject: TJ in his natural element
"Would you happen to have any photographs of TJ 'on the hood' Hooker
on the hood of a car?"
"Dear Sir/Madam
"I have recently (over the last six months or so) started watching
TJ Hooker episodes. I have seen most of season 5. The episode I saw
last week was called 'Partners
in Death.' In this episode Stacy and Jim finally kissed each other
after she was nearly killed in a car explosion. At the end of the episode
they decided that the kiss didn't mean anything really and that it was
just due to the fact of there relief that Stacy was not killed. I found
this really disappointing as the characters are such good friends and
are always looking out for each other. It always seemed to me since
the first episode I saw that they would end up together. So what I'm
wondering is is there anything more of a romantic nature that happens
between them in the handful of episodes left in the series that I have
yet to see?"
"I've been a Mr T fan ever
since my wee years in the eighties watching him on A-Team reruns! I'm
very glad he's back on the net and never miss a chance to search around
for sites featuring him. Thanks for all of your hard work in making
Mr T as hellava tough as he should be! I'm spreading the word, keep
up the good work."
"Thank
*you* for the great job at keeping T.J. Hooker alive on the Internet!"
"Hello . . . I live in the highlands of Scotland. I'm a hugh fan
of William Shatner like yourself and I totaly love your T. J. Hooker
-A Service of Newhallnet website. Its really easy to use and I think
your profiles on the characters
are brilliant. I love the signed photos of Bill Shatner and the rest
of the cast. I thought the episode review was brilliant and I can't
believe that Leonard Nimoy stared with Shatner in an
episode of this show as well! The best thing is the sounds
from the show and the super cool
theme tunes that fans like me just can't get enough of. I think
I'll visit your site now and again just to hear it roll and check out
what is new. I have been a big fan of T.J. Hooker ever since it was
first shown all those years ago and now I'm begining to miss it. In
fact I don't know any channels that show it on our screens any more
in Britain today so recently I wrote to Sky Digital about it an email.
Sky Digital is the top satillite provider in Britain today. I asked
them to include T. J. Hooker on one of two channels I know of that are
fond of showing action cop dramas like Cagney and Lacey and Starsky
and Hutch. I haven't recieved any message from them yet but I hope they
give a rerun of the T. J. Hooker tv show the thums up. I have collected
and read some of William Shatner's cool Star
Trek novels as well. I really liked Star Trek :The Ashes of Eden
and also The Return. I'm really looking forward to reading his Get A
Life novel soon as well. I used to watch Rescue 911 every day and I'm
a big fan of the whole Star Trek universe. Although I didn't really
like the Tekwar tv series he created because we hardly ever saw him
in it. I have recently seen an advert for Free
Enterprise with willaim Shatner that will be first shown on Sky
tv in about a weekand I am looking forward to it. You should check out
the
T.J. Hooker Website. Its also really fantastic and shows episode
guides and fabulous signed photos from the show and plays the theme
tune when you enter. I'm looking forward to seeing any improvements
to your excellent website sir and I'll drop an email again sometime
soon. Bye"
