"Charlie's
Angels" Gives T.J. Hooker a Nod
Hollywood, CA -
Sony Pictures International, the creative force behind the big-screen
remake of Charlie's Angels (starring Drew Barrymore, Cameron
Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Bill Murray) decided to include an homage
to the greatest television crimefighting show of all time, T.J.
Hooker, with a cameo appearance.
Highly
visible in the trailer for the big-name kickfest, the reference
to T.J. Hooker is at once a sly statement on the recycling
of pop culture, and an emotional tribute to the great William
Shatner/Adrian Zmed vehicle.
