Zmed plays Kyle, a one-time successful film star who hopes
a new screenplay by a possibly murderous writer may help
put his career back on track in Until Morning

Zmed, who has charmed the world over in roles such as Officer
Vince Romano in T.J. Hooker and loveable rogue Johnny Nogorelli
in Grease 2, will be returning to the big screen in a new
independent film entitled Until Morning [web
site >], written and directed by Roger Nehls.
Nehls,
best known for his directorial debut Greased to Kill, assembled
a ten-member cast in the woods of Frazier Park, California in
Spetember 2001 and shot Until Morning in an unlikely three
days time. The film was shot live on three-camera digital video.
Following a growing trend in the independent film industry, Until
Morning had no script: the entire film is improvised by the
actors, with minimal instruction by director Nehls.
At
its heart a suspense film, Until Morning's plot centers
around a screenwriter (portrayed by Star Trek: Voyager's
Robert Picardo) who calls several friends to his vacation cabin
to unveil a new screenplay he's written which should help out
the careers of many of those involved. One of them, Kyle (portrayed
by Zmed) is a one-time successful film star whose advancing age
has somewhat dimmed his prospects in Hollywood. Unfortunately,
after their first night in the woods, the writer's invited guests
begin disappearing one by one...
Although
there is no distribution deal in place for the film, TJ-Hooker.com
will be following its progress and will keep our readers updated
when more information becomes available.
