"The Snow Game"

WHAT SAID:

Hooker and Corrigan go undercover as drug dealers to nail the kingpins of a cocaine ring.

SYNOPSIS:

Hooker, Romano, Stacy and Corrigan are devastated when close friend and fellow officer Tony Alvarez is killed execution style during a drug bust. Hooker and his crew had been thrown off guard when a staged fight broke out at the bar allowing Tony to be taken out of sight and murdered. Using a composite sketch, they are able to track down Cezar Moro. Romano is seriously wounded, but they are able to capture Moro who confesses that he was paid off by bailbondsman Louis Baca to start the fight. Hooker arranges for Baca to spring Stacy from jail on a cocaine possesion charge. She then turns Baca onto Hooker and Corrigan who are posing as new drug dealers in town. Baca asks Hooker if he wants to meet his connection who turns out to be Frank Fiero. Fiero tries to con Hooker and Corrigan out of $3,000 worth of cocaine, but Hooker pulls his gun and Fiero agrees to introduce him to his connection. To everyone's surprise, Fiero's connection turns out to be city attorney Rudy Cates, whose brother is a well-known Cuban assassin. Fiero agrees to go along with Hooker's plan and convinces Cates to personally deliver some drugs to Hooker at the pier. At the jail, Baca learns that Fiero was released into police custody and rushes to the pier to alert Cates. A chase ensues, leaving Cates dead and his cohorts apprehended.
